I learned from reading about other boat owners that when you go to purchase the boat NEVER rely on ONE yacht appraisal. ALWAYS get TWO. Most importantly NEVER use the appraiser from the place you are going to buy it!

Go to marinas and ask the owners of the yachts there, who they would recommend besides that one who is tied into the place you are buying your boat.

You will thank me for this tip when you go to buy your boat!
